2013年学术报告 学术报告 开放课题设置 合作项目 举办学术会议 --- 2013年学术报告 --- Recent Research Work in VILA group 时间：2013年12月23日 地点：九龙湖校区计算机学院四楼会议室 报告简介：     VILA is a group of researchers in University of Wollongong who are enthusiastic about Visual Information Learning and Analysis. It aims to explore the synergy between computer vision problems and machine learning techniques to design better visual information analysis algorithms. This talk will first give a brief introduction on our research interest and then focuses on the research work of image recognition and multiple kernel learning. For image recognition, this talk will present a set of algorithms developed to improve the bag-of-features model. For multiple kernel learning, this talk will mainly report our work on radius-incorporated multiple kernel learning. It is hoped that this talk will help to explore and establish research collaboration between VILA and other groups sharing similar research interests. 报告人简介：     王 雷于1996年和1999年 在东 南大学获得工学学士和工学硕士学位，并于2004年在新加坡南洋理工大学获得工学博士学位。他于2005年至2011年在澳大利亚国立大学从 事博士后研究，并于2011年加入澳大利亚卧龙岗大学，目前职位为高级讲师。他的研究小组从事计算机视觉和模式识别 的研究。王雷已发表国际期刊和会议论文80多篇，其中有多篇文章发表在本领域顶级的期刊和会议。他担任20多个国际会议的程序委员会成 员以及环太平洋图像与视频科技论坛2011-2013分领域主席，并是20多国际期刊的审稿人。王雷于2007年荣获得澳大利亚国家研究理事会博士后基金，并在2009被澳大利亚国家研究理事 会和澳大利亚科学院授予青年研究人员奖。他是国际电子和电气工程学会高级会员。     东南大学计算机网络和信息集成教育部重点实验室 版权所有
