报告简介:
Big data with four Vs (volume, variety, velocity and veracity) presents great challenges but also opportunities to organisations who tend to deliver superior services to communities. With big data and data analytic techniques, industries are transforming from experience-basis to evidence-basis, and from general model to personalised model. We urge knowledge graphs and ontology will play an important role in such transformation. In this talk, we will present our recent work on an ontology-based model for user profiling and personalised services. With novel models and methods, the work makes significant contributions to knowledge advancement in Knowledge Engineering, Data Mining, Information Retrieval, and Business Intelligence. The research outcomes have been published on top-tier journals (such as TKDE, KBS) and conferences (such as PAKDD, WI).
