Xiaoyan Hu earned her bachelor degree in software engineering from Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Nanjing, China in 2007 and her Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Southeast University, Nanjing, China in 2015. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor at School of Cyber Science and Engineering, Southeast University. She was a Visiting Scholar at Computer Science Department, Colorado State University, Fort Collins, CO, USA, from 2010 to 2012. Her research interests are in the areas of future Internet archiecture, information centric networking, named data networking, in-network caching, name based routing, network coding, software defined networking, algorithm design and analysis.
